Crane Count General Meeting, 6:30 p.m., River Falls Public Library main floor board room (140 Union St.) For both Pierce and St. Croix counties; open to the public to discuss the 2022 Crane Count and assign areas to people who are doing the count, which will take place 5:30-7:30 a.m. April 9 throughout Wisconsin and the nation. Friday, March 25 – Sunday, March 27 Just Another High School Play, by Brian Starchman and presented by Spring Valley High School, Stagehands Theater. Tickets are sold at the door, $8 per adult, $5 per student (12 and under). Showtimes are at 7 p.m. March 25; 7 p.m. March 26; and 2 p.m. March 27. Directed by Liz Erickson and Derek Huebel.

Saturday, March 26 Ellsworth Fire Chicken Feed, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Ellsworth Fire Hall (427 Spruce St., Ellsworth). After two years off, the EFD will host the 40th Annual Ellsworth Fire Association BBQ Chicken Feed. Dine in and carry out options are available, along with curbside pickup or free delivery! Sons of Norway, Valkyrien Lodge, 7 p.m., Zion Lutheran Church (221 Lockwood, Woodville). The public is invited to “The Spring Valley Line: Omaha Railway’s Branch Lines Extending North and South of Woodville, Wis.” Arlyn Colby, a retired high school math teacher, has done extensive research on western Wisconsin railroad history, especially abandoned branch lines. He has written several books detailing his research, which will be available for purchase. Norwegian goodies will be served at 6:30 p.m Everyone is welcome.

Thursday, March 31 Ellsworth Town Hall Meeting, 6:30 p.m., Ellsworth Middle School Library (312 Panther Drive). The village is updating its Comprehensive Plan. The community is invited to participate in a town hall meeting to share ideas, wants, concerns, etc. for the community. Help set a vision for Ellsworth for the next 20 years.

Confluence: Tomahawk Circle, 3-5 p.m., Prescott Performing Arts Center (1010 Dexter St., Prescott). Experience the power of native drums in this special performance by Tomahawk Circle, an Ojibwe family group.
