To the editor,
I would like to thank Jacqueline Murray Brux for at least attempting to rationalize (however poorly) her ultra left-wing perspective. Disparaging brilliant African American scholars is never a good look. In fact, if Jackie was a conservative her liberal friends would be calling her a bigot in a New York minute for belittling Sowell and Williams. That is what liberals do. It is the first and only play in the liberal playbook. Fortunately, they have used this canard so often and so indiscriminately over the years it has ended where it started, as a national joke.
Clearly, Jackie did not go to Catholic school because had she attended one she would be aware that completing only half of her assignment would earn her an F along with a couple of swats on her behind from Sister Emma's favorite yardstick. Lucky for her that Sister Emma would have spared her the swats from her other yardstick, the one with the thumb tacks glued to the business end of it – that one was reserved for the boys.
Hopefully, Jackie will complete her assignment by reading Heather MacDonald's book “The War on Cops“ and watching “The Fall of Minneapolis.” Then we will be better able to evaluate her mastery of the subject matter. I have every confidence that Jackie does not intend to perpetuate the growing belief that there is an inverse relationship between education and intelligence.
