The Prescott High School baseball team donated its time around town last weekend. The Cardinal sluggers cleaned up the Prescott Cemetery and raked the hills leading to Main Street as part of their annual fundraiser.
“While our school district does a great job of recognizing the needs of our program, we still need to raise the funds necessary to offset higher costs,” said Coach Jeff on their fundraising website (linked at the end). “The funds we raise will be used to help supplement the cost of equipment, facility improvements and other non-budgeted expenses.”
The Cardinals are asking their families, friends and the Prescott community to donate what you can and to spread the request by social media, email and text messaging.
“It makes a difference and will help us create opportunities for all of our student athletes. In addition, we want to teach our student athletes that there are far more important experiences in life. Therefore, we will be performing community service in the Prescott area as a way of giving back. Thanks for your consideration and support!” Ryan wrote.
