Submit entries during library hours anytime March 23-29 in four categories: Grades 5 and younger, grades 6-12, adults, and groups/families. Entries on display from March 30 through April 6. Vote for your favorites. Winners announced April 6.
Audrey Farley, 6:30 p.m., virtual through RF Public Library (140 Union St.) Join Farley, author of “The Unfit Heiress: The Tragic Life and Scandalous Sterilization of Ann Cooper Hewitt” for an evening of conversation. At the turn of the 20th Century, American women began to seek a life outside the home, which alarmed authorities.

E-Town Arts Mural Walk Fundraiser, E-Town Collaborative (259 N. Broadway, Ellsworth). The youth art gallery fundraiser featuring student artworks will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $5 (students are free). Stop in to support the next East End mural; 50/50 and other raffles as well.
