ELLSWORTH — The Ellsworth Public Library (EPL) would like to extend its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Pierce County for their generous grant support.
The ADRC received funding through the “Social Isolation and Loneliness Grant,” awarded by the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS). The grant funds were distributed by the ADRC to several local organizations, including the Ellsworth Public Library.
Between May 2024 and March 31, 2025, EPL received just over $8,200 to support programming and services specifically aimed at reducing social isolation and loneliness among seniors in our community.
These grant funds allowed the library to enhance and expand a variety of outreach initiatives, including:
