RIVER FALLS – In a delightful homage to the golden age of radio, River Falls Community Theater brings the classic tale of Bram Stoker’s Dracula to life with the innovative adaptation from Elizabeth Salazar's "Dracula: A Radio Play." Set up in the lower level of the River Falls Library adorned with vintage microphones and period-appropriate props, the show will transport the audience to an era fueled with terrifying tales of the supernatural.
In this adaptation an ancient vampire arrives in England to once again become the conqueror, and to prey upon the innocent—but Professor Abra Van Helsing, Mina Murray, and their stalwart friends are determined to avenge the fallen and stop him before it’s too late.
This production will be a unique auditory experience comprised of dedicated local talents, embracing their roles with enthusiasm, skillfully taking you through the tension and drama that the storyline demands. As Halloween approaches, this delightful interpretation of a classic tale is a thrilling way to celebrate the season.
Don't miss this haunting experience at the River Falls Public Library lower level (140 Union St.), Oct. 11, 12, and 18, 19 starting at 7 p.m. General admission is $15; for mature audiences only.
