PRESCOTT – Wow! Six months of 2025 have passed and we are well into summer! Soon we will start hearing about Back to School sales, which of course won't bother any of us. That just tells us we had better get busy enjoying summer. One good way to do that is to join your old and new friends at the Senior Gathering Place.

Coming activities:

Pre-register at the Gathering Place before this Friday, July 4 for the "Boating on the Mississippi" trip on Thursday, July 10 from 1-3 p.m. This is a pontoon ride limited to 10 passengers that has been an awesome trip in past years.

Wednesday, July 2: Cards Day for Euchre is 12:30-3:30 p.m. and Bridge 1-3:30 p.m.  

Thursday, July 3: Pickleball players will meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at Lions Park courts. And yes, play in July will be outside as the Prescott Intermediate School gym will be closed all of July.

Friday, July 4: No Memory Cafe today due to the 4th of July holiday.

Tuesday, July 8: Social time and games of your choice at the Gathering Place. Decaf coffee and treats provided so come catch up with other members and meet new members.  

Wednesday, July 9: Euchre Day from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Thursday, July 10: Pickleball players will meet for play at 8:30 am at Lions Park courts. Canasta will be played from 12:30-3:30 p.m. As mentioned above, today from 1-3 p.m. is Boating on the Mississippi.

Prescott Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott Middle School, Door 5. All seniors age 55 years and older are invited. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
