PRESCOTT – The beautiful sunshine and longer days are warming my heart even if the temperatures are back to March highs. I am hoping Mother Nature doesn't leave like a lion at the end of March. She sure gave us a loud roar last weekend with all the wind and snow! Good news is most of the snow has melted already and hints of spring are here. What would we talk about if it wasn't our weather?
Coming activities:
Wednesday, March 25: Program & Publicity committees meet at 10:30 a.m. Cards day with Euchre played at 12:30 p.m. and Bridge at 1 p.m.
Thursday, March 26: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym (125 Elm St. N.) The Canasta card game will be played at 1 p.m.
Tuesday, March 31: Pickleball players meet for play at 8:30 a.m. at the Prescott Intermediate School gym. Gathering Place members meet at 1 p.m. for Games. Many choices to choose from or bring your favorite.
Wednesday, April 1: At 12:30 p.m. players meet for Euchre. At 1 p.m. Bridge players meet.
Thursday, April 2: Art 101/Watercolor meets at 1 p.m. Beginners welcome!
Friday, April 3: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank community room lower level.
Prescott Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St. at the Prescott Middle School, Door 5. Regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome to attend.
