Friday, Feb. 2

Light It Up for Larry’s Girls, 6-11 p.m., Elmwood Auditorium (323 W. Winter Ave., Elmwood). Larry Hofacker left behind a wife and two daughters following a courageous battle with cancer. From lighting up the sky to the power in people’s homes or businesses, Larry made an impact on many. Let’s bring some light to Shelly, Tru and Myah at this benefit.

Glow Dance in Honor of Marlee May, 6-8 p.m., St. Francis School (244 W. Woodworth St., Ellsworth). Annual Glow Dance in honor of Marlee May Erlandson. This free will offering event is open to all. Dinner is provided, along with candy and root beer floats to purchase. DJ Mike will play all the kids’ favorites. Donations support the Marlee May Erlandson Scholarship. Students must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturday, Feb. 3

Ruby’s Pantry, 10-11:30 a.m., Pierce Pepin Cooperative Services (W7725 Highway 10, Ellsworth). Sponsored by Bethel Covenant Church. Food is $25 per share. All are welcome!

Rush River Trail Riders Snow Day, 10 a.m., Rush River Clubhouse (N4775 450th St., Ellsworth). Snowmobile show, refreshments, bonfires, raffles and fun for the whole family!

Lac du Flambeau Drum Group Tomahawk Circle, 1 p.m., Prescott Performing Arts Center (1010 Dexter St.) Free public event open to all ages. Nationally known performers will showcase their culture; people can observe or participate. A free will offering will be collected. Sponsored by Prescott’s Building an All-Inclusive Community and Prescott School District. Funded by a Prescott Foundation grant.

Prescott American Legion Chicken Fry, 4:30-8 p.m., Prescott American Legion (710 Pearl St.) All you care to eat or takeout available (4:30-7 p.m.) with no need to call ahead. Ice Carving Showdown, 1-4 p.m., Lucille’s (216 Broad St. N., Prescott). Tom Schiller represents Hastings and Greg Schmotzer will represent Prescott. They will compete against each other for bragging rights. Enjoy food and drink specials and raffle prizes.

Sunday, Feb. 11

Valentines Charcuterie Box Make and Take Fundraiser, 11 a.m., Etown Collaborative (259 N. Broadway St., Ellsworth). Create your own charcuterie box, learn display techniques, dip and decorate strawberries and take your treats home. Jewelry vendors will also be onsite. SVAA’s 35th Annual Pancake Breakfast, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Spring Valley Area Ambulance (S104 Sabin Ave.) Freewill donation breakfast serving pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links, applesauce, pudding and beverages.
